Privacy Policy

The short version

ExcelPerfect is an AI chat that works with your spreadsheets. When you attach a file, we process it to answer your questions and make the edits you ask for, then give you a corrected copy to download. We keep account details so you can log in and manage billing. We don’t sell your data or use it to train advertising models, and you can export or delete it at any time.

Information we collect

• Account data: your email and name when you register.
• Chat & request content: the messages and formulas you send to generate, explain, debug, or convert.
• Uploaded files: spreadsheets you attach (.xlsx, .xls, .csv) and any corrected copies generated from them, so the assistant can read, edit, and let you download them.
• Billing data: handled by Stripe; we never store full card numbers.
• Usage data: token counts to enforce monthly plan limits and improve the service.

How we use it

To answer your questions, read and edit your spreadsheets, operate your account, enforce plan limits, process payments, and respond to support requests. We do not use your content to train third-party advertising models, and your original uploaded file is never modified. Every edit is written to a new copy.

Data retention

Conversations are kept in your account until you delete them. Uploaded files and the corrected copies generated from them are stored temporarily so follow-up questions and downloads keep working, then automatically deleted (within 30 days of last use). Deleting a conversation or your account removes its data.

Third-party processors

We rely on a small set of trusted providers: an AI model provider to generate results, and Stripe to process payments. Each one is bound by their own data-protection commitments.

Your choices

You can export all of your data or delete your account at any time from your account settings. Cancelling removes your subscription, and deleting your account removes your stored account data, conversations, and files.
